This exhibition presents the work of two architects, Pascal Häusermann (1936-2011) and Claude Costy (born 1931), who worked in the Vosges in the 60s and 70s. It will focus on one of their projects in Raon-l'Etape, called "L'eau vive", which was originally conceived as an annex to a hotel, although the passage through the region justified the expansion of such an establishment during the summer months.
The curvaceous building, somewhat caricaturally associated with the spirit of the Sixties, is now undergoing a facelift. Its new owner plans to reopen the hotel to the public, and has begun work on the site, which is now listed as a historic monument.
The exhibition will feature original drawings, models, photographs, period publications and film extracts.
