"OMG—Do We Know Too Much to Still Believe?"

For millennia, people have been grappling with the big questions of existence: Where do we come from? Is there a divine power? What is the meaning of life? Faith and science are two ways of seeking answers. The special exhibition “OMG – Do We Know Too Much to Believe?” takes a scientific look at the question of a divine power and at faith. It draws on various scientific disciplines, as faith can be examined from biological, neurological, psychological, sociological, physical, philosophical, anthropological, archaeological, or cultural studies perspectives. Rather than viewing these as irreconcilable opposites, the exhibition explores the complex interactions, parallels, and challenges that arise when research encounters spiritual beliefs.
