Survivors in a Crazy World
The largest solo exhibition to date by Omar Ba showcases the work of this Senegalese-Swiss artist, which bridges the gap between painterly poetry and social urgency. Through nuanced color palettes, Omar Ba explores geopolitical themes in his paintings, opens up unexpected perspectives, and creates fantastical alternate worlds.

High-caliber loans and new works, together with the monumental piece “Devoir de mémoire” (2023) from the Aargauer Kunsthaus collection, offer a unique overview of numerous major works from his career to date.
