From July 11 to August 30, 2026, the 24th Ulm Art Triennial invites visitors to discover the region's contemporary art in all its diversity. Since it was founded in 1955 - initially as a biennial, and every three years since 1961 - it has been the central platform for current artistic creation from Ulm, Neu-Ulm and the Alb-Danube district. It provides insights into a lively, polyphonic artistic landscape that shapes the region and has an impact beyond it.
The Triennial 2026 has a special appeal due to its temporal and thematic connection to the International Danube Festival. Thematically, it takes up the motif of the river. As a connecting and transformative element, the Danube symbolizes movement, change and exchange - as a continuous flow of ideas, perspectives and artistic positions.
