From hops to beer spirit

The Maison du Kochersberg association is pleased to present an exhibition on the 1st floor of the museum, entitled "From hops to the spirit of beer". Alsace is France's leading hop-growing region, with a long tradition of brewing. In the Kochersberg, the land of green gold par excellence, there are still a few hop gardens, and many of us remember the Hopfe Zopfe (cone sorting) in which women and children used to take part. While some of our breweries have been taken over by large European groups, the late 1990s saw the return of high-quality craft production by microbreweries, which you'll discover here.
