Docu-film: Life on Mars
The earthly hurdles of a space project
Actually, the Natural History Museum Bern would have opened an exhibition on "ExoMars" this autumn - an international space project in which scientists from the museum are also involved.
"ExoMars" would have been launched on 20 September 2022 - with the aim of searching for possible traces of microorganisms on Mars. However, due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the launch had to be postponed.
A new documentary film by the NMBE tells of the hurdles and hopes of the crisis-ridden project.
The film "Life on Mars" will be shown from 20 September 2022 in the "5 Stars" exhibition in the "This is not a Mars exhibition" cinema room and on our online channels.
