Art can inspire, irritate, provoke or touch - and this is precisely where its freedom lies. It poses questions, pushes boundaries and opens up new perspectives on society, politics and human interaction.
The VBK exhibition is dedicated to this freedom as an indispensable space for expression, criticism and dialog. With irony, satire, humor and subtle nuances, works are created that allow friction and at the same time create connections. Because free art eludes control - and makes visible what otherwise often remains hidden. On display are paintings, drawings, installations as well as concrete and wood sculptures by ANRA (Hilbert), Sabine Bach, Babi Brüller, Yongchang Chung, Matthias Dämpfle, Jonas Mosbacher and Jolanta Switajski.
The exhibition Verein Bildende Kunst Lörrach invites you to experience art as an open space for thought and encounters.
Curated by Jürgen Armbrecht, Marga Golz, Ellen Mosbacher and Petra van Veen.
