In her works, Angelica Mesiti explores alternative forms of communication - from oral traditions to musical-performative forms of expression. Her video installations evoke the poetry of the everyday and show how exchange through sound and gesture can create community. In The Rites of When (2024), traditional seasonal rituals are rethought. In a sensual way, the work explores possible ways of living together in times of ecological uncertainty and social change.
