Titled “Not a Cruise, a Crossing,” the exhibition reflects Glajcar’s artistic approach: it is not a random journey, but a conscious, purposeful progression. In this ongoing process, the artist continually explores new possibilities of paper as an artistic medium, thereby constantly expanding her creative horizons. The individual groups of works emerge like distinctive islands, which together reveal a multifaceted panorama of her oeuvre. The exhibition spans 21 years of creative work and culminates in two monumental installations that the paper sculptor conceived specifically for the Stihl Gallery in Waiblingen. These two works, created on site, enter into a dialogue—unprecedented to date—with the architecturally unique building.
