Andi Fischer (* 1987) is a Berlin-based artist who creates energetic paintings and drawings that simulate a childlike naivety inspired by art history.
The Mannheimer Kunstverein presents the first institutional solo exhibition of the internationally successful artist Andi Fischer, who lives and works in Berlin. Works will be shown that were created especially for this exhibition.
His works stand out due to their unique style and are partly inspired by art-historically significant works by great old masters. Andi Fischer creates new worlds in his paintings, which stimulate the viewer's imagination through their seemingly childlike naivety. Andi Fischer's works are represented in international collections.
The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog, which offers a comprehensive overview of the artist's work to date, as well as an edition (available to MKV members).
