The author and artist Alison Bechdel from the USA has made her family history and her life as a queer person the central theme of her artwork. In her drawn stories, she combines autobiographical aspects with classic literature, scientific findings and mythological elements. Curator Anette Gehrig in conversation with Corinne Rufli, historian, author and expert on the history of lesbian life in Switzerland.
