The guided tours through the exhibition ‘The Essential Alison Bechdel’ allow visitors to take a look behind the scenes. The autobiographical-fictional stories by award-winning comic book author and illustrator Alison Bechdel (*1960, USA) deal with relationships, queer identity, psychological and literary reflections, as well as the body and self-perception, with a great deal of self-irony.
