Kommen Sie im Rahmen der Ausstellung »Die Shaker. Weltenbauer und Gestalter« nach einer Kuratorinnenführung zusammen und genießen Sie gemeinsam Tee, Kaffee und eine Auswahl an Süßspeisen wie Kuchen oder Keksen. Diese werden nach den originalen Shaker-Rezepten für Sie nachgebacken. Die Zubereitung und Planung der Speisen war ein zentraler Bestandteil des gemeinschaftlichen Lebens der Shaker. Die Rezepte für amerikanischen Apple Pie, Nut Cake und Donuts wurden seit dem 19. Jahrhundert in der freikirchlichen Bewegung weitergegeben und schmecken heute noch genauso wie damals.

Die Führung findet auf Deutsch statt.
