The illustrators' marathon.
Based in Mulhouse, this collective of men and women professional illustrators and cartoonists take part in a variety of public events with the "marathon dessininé" performance.
For three hours, they draw pencils and felt-tip pens around a large table and, every 15 minutes, improvise drawings on themes chosen at random in front of the audience. Audiences of all ages are invited to pick up their pencils too!
It's a wonderful opportunity to discover the creative process behind an image, and the very different styles and tools used by illustrators.
The drawings are then exhibited and sold at a single price of €12.
