Mad scientists, fatal accidents, or the most terrifying electrical experiments: your visit during the All Saints’ Day break will be filled with spine-chilling stories.
From October 17 to 31, discover the dark history of electricity at the Electropolis Museum!

Mad scientists, fatal accidents, and the most terrifying electrical experiments: your visit during the All Saints’ Day break will be filled with spine-chilling stories. Tour materials tailored to visitors’ ages: a game sheet for the youngest or a QR code to scan for the bravest.

A unique tour: be careful, because on Fridays, the fuses blow and the lights go out, leaving creatures to haunt its walls. The museum transforms into a veritable labyrinth where terror reigns. Will you manage to make it out alive?

Two types of activities in a museum redecorated in Halloween colors

• A unique experience: tour the museum in the dark

Following the success of previous editions, the “tour in the dark” returns to the museum with even more mysteries and thrills! On Fridays, October 23 and 30, starting at 5:00 p.m., the museum lights will go out, plunging visitors into darkness. Armed only with the light from their smartphones, visitors will wander through an eerie atmosphere. Watch out—mysterious creatures are lurking in the museum’s hallways!

Fridays, October 23 & 30, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (last admission at 6:15 PM). No reservation required.
Ages 10 and up; not recommended for easily frightened children; must be accompanied by an adult.
Free for Museum Pass holders; otherwise, a special rate of €6 applies starting at 4:45 p.m.

• Two self-guided investigations on “The Dark History of Electricity”

For younger visitors, ages 7 and up, an investigation booklet will introduce them to the frightening creatures and dark experiments that have marked the history of electricity.

For visitors 16 and older, scanning a QR code will grant access to a digital tour. On the agenda: experiments gone wrong, deranged scientists, and crimes hidden behind the glamour of world’s fairs; visitors will discover terrifying anecdotes and images not on display in the museum. Not for the faint of heart!

Saturday, October 17 through Saturday, October 31, 2026. The booklet and QR code are available for free at the reception desk from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tour duration: approximately 45 minutes.
Ages 7 and up, accompanied by an adult, for the booklet.
Not permitted for children under 16 for the digital tour via QR code.
Free for holders of the Museum Pass Musées.
