Discover the new temporary exhibition at the Electropolis Museum and immerse yourself in 150 years of advertising history centered on electricity!💡️
From the late 19th century to the present day, this exhibition invites you to explore an exceptional graphic heritage through original posters, drawings, films, games, mascots, and promotional items—some of which are being displayed to the public for the very first time.
🎨Through the works of great illustrators and poster artists such as Jacques Faizant, Bernard Villemot, Lefor Openo, and Jean Effel, discover how advertising has managed to make an invisible energy visible—a symbol of modernity, comfort, and progress.
🏡Organized around several themes—allegories, education, the home, the role of women, domestic uses, the environment, and regions—the exhibition highlights the evolution of our lifestyles and our relationship with energy over the decades.
This exhibition is also part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the EDF Group, a long-standing partner and major patron of the museum.
