For the first time, Cartoonmuseum Basel is presenting a major retrospective on artist Emil Ferris from the USA. With the multi-layered narrative and powerful drawings in her internationally successful ‘My Favorite Thing Is Monsters’, she expanded the artistic language of comics and opened up new dimensions. The curator-guided tour with Anette Gehrig offers you profound insight into the artist’s work, her creative process and the background to her stories.
