Vivarium du Moulin

There is a place in Alsace that welcomes you with a giant mantis. Sitting high above everybody, she watches the ancient flour mill. The miller left his property long ago and now some 60 insects and spiders from all over the world occupy his former home. Impressive tarantulas live in various terrariums. But don't be afraid!

To recognise the ghost insects you need to be patient. They are excellently hidden and merge into their environment. Musical grasshoppers are responsible for the background music in the vivarium. Mantis, bugs, cockroaches, giant millipedes and many more invite you to embark on a discovery tour to unknown animals whose way of living will surprise you.
