Art in Baden after 1945
Städtische Galerie Fruchthalle
The 'Städtische Galerie Fruchthalle' hosts the exhibition ‘Art in Baden after 1945'. Works by important regional artists are displayed on more than 600 square meters. The highlight of the exhibition is the large wood carving by Anselm Kiefer ‘Paths of knowledge: The Battle of the Teutoburger Forest' (Hermannschlacht). Other highlights are the loans by the ‘Druckgraphic-Stiftung Lütze', (graphic reproductions by the Foundation Lütze) which complement the collection of art in Baden after 1945 as well as the German part of the Collection Westermann with drawings and objects in a predetermined format.

In addition to the City Gallery's core collection that comprises paintings, drawings, objects, sculptures and graphic reproductions, further special exhibitions about art inBadenafter 1945 are organised throughout the year.
