The Oberrheinische Bädermuseum (Museum of Bathing Culture in the Upper Rhine region) highlights the history of hydrotherapy from Roman times until today. Irrespective of present-day borders, it includes the entire region: the southern Upper Rhine landscape between the Black Forest, the Vosgesand Swiss Jura. Five scientifically researched departments showcase medical and societal developments and changes in the culture of bathing. The highly developed Roman bathing culture is showcased as well as medieval baths, bathing tours from around 1600 as well as life in spa towns in the 19th and 20th century.

Visitors can find the museum of local history Bad Bellingen in a historical gabled house in Bamlach. The exhibition covers six departments on 400 square meters and informs about four places and their various aspects that characterize the town ofBad Bellingen: the history of regimes and churches, fishing, war and adversity and a well preserved blacksmith's workshop.
