With Rauschen der Formen, the FRIDA studio of Lebenshilfe Lörrach e.V. is being presented for the first time in a museum exhibition context together with two invited artistic positions. Since its foundation in 2015, Atelier FRIDA in Lörrach has been a professionally supervised workspace for neurodiverse artists and people with disabilities. Independent painterly positions are continuously created here - beyond therapeutic attribution or social romantic appropriation. FRIDA does not see itself as a place of employment, but as a place of artistic production. The focus is on individual pictorial discovery: trying out techniques, developing one's own signature and dealing with personal and social issues. The exhibition focuses on works by Peter Ehrlich, Maik Fechner, Simone Lieber, Salvatore Mangiapane, Carmen Schäuble and Sandra Stankiewitz. Their paintings are characterized by intense colours, unconventional formal inventions and an immediate visual language.
The presentation is complemented by specially developed works by Katharina Kemmerling and andreasschneider.
