Family workshop
As part of a musical workshop, we invite you to discover the instruments featured in the castle’s décor, its archaeological collection, and the archives relating to its history.
Haut-Kœnigsbourg has not only echoed with the clang of weapons.
Musical instruments have also found their place here, adding a touch of poetry to the castle’s martial atmosphere.
Old inventories and archaeological remains bear witness to this, whilst other instruments found their way into the castle’s interiors during its restoration at the start of the last century. We invite you to explore your favourite castle, shining a spotlight on its historical and ornamental musical instruments.
Faithful reproductions of these instruments will be presented to you. You may even have the chance to play a few notes on them!
A unique workshop, blending history and music, offering a different way to discover Haut-Kœnigsbourg castle.
