An evening at the François Schneider Foundation 05/26/2026
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 6.30 pm, the François Schneider Foundation, in collaboration with Museums-PASS-Musées, invites you to an exclusive evening around the temporary exhibition " Nicolas Floc'h - Hydroscape".
For its 2026 summer season, the Fondation François Schneider is giving Nicolas Floc'h carte blanche. The exhibition, Hydroscape, explores the fusion between water and landscape, at the crossroads of scientific rigor and contemporary art. For the past fifteen years, the artist has been documenting the transformation of underwater ecosystems through photography and sculpture. His work, nourished by exchanges with researchers, is organized in this exhibition around three cycles: Les Paysages productifs, Les Structures productives and La Couleur de l'eau.
The tour unveils never-before-seen creations by 2026 dedicated to the Rhine. Through devices of grids and water columns, Nicolas Floc'h materializes chromatic surveys carried out from Lake Constance to Strasbourg, ending up in the Rhine delta in Rotterdam.
At the same time, Nicolas Floc'h has created a series of new works dedicated to the Rhine.
Between scientific approach and plastic creation, Hydroscape transforms our view of these invisible habitats.
