Wildegg
Switzerland
Wildegg Castle was built by the Habsburgs in the first half of the 13th century. It was owned by the Effinger family for eleven generations. For the past 100 years, the living quarters have been fitted out as they were in around 1800. Former residents of the castle talk about their lives in video portraits and reveal some of their secrets. Rare garden and crop plants as well as historical rose varieties grow in the 3,300-square-metre garden.
