The Museum of Contemporary Art is located in the listed Villa Haiss, which opened in 1997. The top floors are dedicated to the permanent exhibition of contemporary art, which includes works by internationally renowned artists such as Arman, Balkenhol, Beuys, Cera, Christo, Hartung, Koshlyakov, Kawamata, Yves Klein, Mack, Piene, Sonderborg, Gruppe SPUR, Uecker, Warhol. The ground floor is home to four different special exhibitions per year.
4 + 1
The new exhibition series 4+1 is designed as a changing group exhibition. Five different artists are shown. In the course of the exhibition, the works of one artist will be replaced by those of another one on a regular basis. Currently on view: Normunds Braslins Petra Göhringer-Machleid...
