The Toy Museum
History and tradition
A lively and varied museum
Housed in a former cinema, the Colmar Toy Museum welcomes children and adults for a fun, themed visit, to discover the toys which marked our childhood.

The museum presents a collection of toys from the 19th century to the present day, bearing witness to the way society has changed over the years. On three floors, visitors can discover antique toys or characters from cartoons; from vintage teddy bears to the first Barbie© dolls, not forgetting of course video games, Playmobil®, scale models, robots or miniature trains. The toys and games exhibited here come from all around the world and belonged to different generations of children.

A mesmerising highlight of this museum is the network of trains covering the whole of the second floor. With giant board games, puppet shows and video consoles, a visit to the museum is always lively and terrific fun. A museum which takes you on a voyage of discovery to learn more about the fascinating history of TOYS and GAMES!
