From July 5 to September 6, 2026, the Maison Rurale de l'Outre-Forêt invites you to explore the art of glassmaking in all its facets: from its captivating history across the centuries to its incredibly diverse contemporary production, in celebrations and everyday life from the past to the present, in architecture and techniques, in art and creativity… with the support of the glassworks in Meisenthal and Wingen-sur-Moder, and all the lenders who, of their own accord, opened their cabinets or display cases, rummaged through their basements, or searched their attics to unearth rare or more familiar objects.
Activities, workshops, and lectures will enrich this exhibition, whose everyday objects come primarily from the rich collections of the Friends of the Maison Rurale de l’Outre-Forêt association (full program available at: www.maison-rurale.fr)
