Marijke Aerden specializes in fashion, beauty and advertising photography as well as film.
Her work has been published in major international magazines such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Her clients include RVDK Ronald van der Kemp, Viktor & Rolf, Takashimaya, AXE and L'Oréal. While living in New York in the 80s, she discovered her passion for photography, bought a camera and studied photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Since then, she has continued to develop her vision and skills. While her fashion projects are characterized by adrenaline, Marijke finds personal peace in photographing nature, which she sees as a style statement.
Her work is described as a "no-nonsense sensibility". "Working with Ronald van der Kemp is an inspiring and truly fantastic experience. We have been working together since the beginning of RVDK."
