Water worlds

In 2026, the Stockach City Museum will take you to places of longing on the Blue. In its major 2026 art exhibition "Water Worlds - From Dix to Mollweide", we explore life on the water in art: dreamy landscapes, lively cities, fates marked by water. Take a fresh look at works by Otto Dix, Carl Walter Liner, Eduard Bargheer, Hans Sauerbruch, Werner Mollweide and many other artists. Of course, nearby Lake Constance plays a central role. But we also travel to the shores of the Mediterranean and across the ocean. "Water Worlds - From Dix to Mollweide" is the first cross-sectional exhibition of masterpieces from the Heinrich Wagner Collection since the premiere exhibition nine years ago.
