Unicorn - a fabulous story

Unicorns fill store shelves and children's rooms. The special exhibition "Unicorn - a fabulous story" shows that the mythical creature has fascinated people for centuries. In 2023/24, Museum Aargau is presenting objects with different meanings that have been attributed to the animal - from the Middle Ages to the present day. The exhibition thus provides an insight into the varied cultural history of the unicorn: between religious symbol, subject of scientific debate and popular cult object.
