From October 17, 2025 to May 10, 2026, the special exhibition "Polarstern - Expedition to the Eternal Ice" will be on display at the KLIMA ARENA in Sinsheim. The interactive exhibition is based on a concept by the Kinder-Akademie Fulda and was created in cooperation with the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research (AWI). The focus is on the German research vessel Polarstern and the MOSAiC expedition, the largest Arctic research trip to date. Impressive photographs by Michael Gutsche and hands-on stations for children and families bring the exhibition to life. It impressively conveys the extent to which the Arctic is affected by climate change - and the significance this has for our global climate.
