"home-away-from-home" - SHIP EXPERIENCE

The exhibition tells of everyday life on a ship in the past and today. A variety of stories from a journey through time about inland shipping and people who are at home en route. Skippers and former skippers' children talk about their life on the ship, about homesickness when the skippers' children come to school and have to go to the skippers' children's home.
