Measuring the Ice
During the scorching summer of 2026, dozens of Swiss glaciers had disappeared, including the Bella Tola Glacier in the Val d’Anniviers. ETH Zurich has been tracking the ice masses of the Alps for 171 years—and since then, two-thirds of their volume has melted. This exhibition by ETH Zurich, in collaboration with ALPS, brings this story and its data to light and asks: How do we want to shape the future of the Alpine region?
