The commitment of the galleries based in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region and active beyond its borders makes a valuable contribution to cultural diversity at regional level. It is crucial for gallery work that the cooperation between gallery owners and artists, but also with their customers, is based on trust, openness and mutual support. After all, artistic creation can only be perceived in its entirety if public institutions such as the Mannheimer Kunstverein and private initiatives such as the participating galleries offer the opportunity to exhibit works of art and make them visible and tangible to an interested public. Certainly, a website provides initial information and impressions, but personal inspection remains and continues to be essential for a possible purchase of art. For the 31st time, eight galleries will be showing a selection from their diverse program in the pavilion of the Mannheim Kunstverein on Carl-Reiss-Platz.
