On Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 6pm, the Basel Historical Museum, in collaboration with Museums-Pass-Musées, invites you to an exclusive event as part of the new temporary exhibition "Hidden, Lost, Found Treasures". Discover 25 exceptional finds from the Basel region, dating from the Bronze Age to the present day. Magnificent Celtic gold jewelry, one of Europe's largest Roman silver treasures from Kaiseraugst or the mysterious booty of a master Rhine thief - all tell fascinating stories from the past. During the evening, exclusive guided tours of the temporary and permanent exhibitions, in German and French, await you. Come and visit us, and let yourself be captivated by these discoveries!

Program 

5:30pm - 5:55pm Welcome

6:00 pm - 6:50 pm Guided tours (French and German)

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm Aperitif

Registration

  • Registration is required in order to participate. Only holders of a Museum PASS may register. Accompanying persons will not be admitted.

  • You will then receive a confirmation email and are automatically registered for the guided tour and the aperitif.

  • Check in advance whether your Museum PASS museums on 30.10.2025 is still valid and that you have set up a user account.

  • We reserve the right to cancel this free event or reduce the program if demand is low. Cancellation of the event, for whatever reason, does not constitute grounds for compensation or reimbursement for the registered participants, nor for any costs incurred by the registered holder in this connection.

 

Conditions of participation:

Participants must be over 18 years of age and may not be accompanied by children.

It is not possible to participate with a free, monthly or transferable pass.
