Basel Museum Night 2026

Friday, January 23, 2026 | 6 pm-2 am

Forty-three houses offer visitors around 230 activities from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. At the Basel paper mill, the printing presses are running, and at the Pharmacy Museum, homemade hand cream has been a classic since 2001. While ghosts lure visitors to the Kunstmuseum Basel, the Fondation Beyeler invites them into the worlds of Yayoi Kusama and Cezanne. SRF and SRG Region Basel inspire with local stories and radio programmes.

During this special night, numerous museums and famous cultural sites in Basel can be experienced or exciting guest institutions rediscovered until 2am.
