In this discussion at the interface between natural science, research and art, the guests will focus on the communication of plants and the cross-species communication of plants with other life forms such as insects and microorganisms. Among other things, they will address the question of the extent to which plant communication is a key to adapting our agriculture to climate change.
This is also one of the themes of the artists of Plants_Intelligence: Sabian Baumann, Ursula Damm, Kyriaki Goni, Ingela Ihrman, Jochen Lempert (invited by Christiane Meyer-Stoll), Julia Mensch, Mathilde Rosier, Una Szeemann and Zheng Bo.
