L'instrumentarium du château

In this week when we're celebrating music, we'd be delighted to show you the instruments used in the castle's decor, its archaeology and the archives linked to its history.
Haut-Kœnigsbourg has not always resounded to the sound of cannons or iron. Musical instruments have been heard here (a touch of poetry in this world of brutes), as evidenced by ancient inventories and archaeology. Others crept into the monument's décor during its restoration at the beginning of the last century.
We invite you to take a tour of your favourite château, focusing on its historical and ornamental instrumentarium. Reproductions of these types of instrument will be presented to you. Perhaps you'll even be able to play a few notes on these copies of old instruments!
