This summer, dare to dream at Hohlandsbourg Castle! Bring the whole family into a world where medieval history meets imagination. Daily live shows, storytelling, creative workshops and games transform the castle into a living place of dreams and enchanting stories.
On the program :
1. Show: "No Way... I'm Dreaming!"
In a medieval castle where dreaming is forbidden, every inhabitant hides a secret dream: to become a hero, an artist, a champion of justice... or simply someone else. When one of them falls asleep, their hidden desires come to life, revealing secret longings and unexpected truths.
With humour and burlesque comedy, "No Way... I'm Dreaming!" blurs the boundaries between dreams and reality. It explores the moment when a dream becomes a nightmare, what our dreams reveal about us, and what happens when they come true.
2 performances daily: 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. • Duration: 45 minutes
2. Educational, fun and creative activities for the whole family
2.1. Dramatised storytelling: Castle Dreams – A Midsummer Night
Let yourself be carried away by captivating tales of dreams, visions and fantastical creatures. Discover a medieval world rich in beliefs, superstitions and imagination, where history, mystery and poetry meet.
Performances: 12:10 p.m., 2:10 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. • Duration: 30 minutes • Ages 7 and up
2.2. Games: Dreams, Sleep and Imagination
Games, challenges, obstacle courses and quizzes... Join a series of fun and sensory activities combining skill, creativity and humour, and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of dreams, sleep and imagination.
2.3. Creative Workshop
Decorate and paint your own shield, crown, fairy hat or wizard's hat in a magical atmosphere inspired by the legend of the White Lady. For children aged 3 to 12
2.4. Photo Booth: The Waking Dream
