Train with gladiators

Want to stand in the arena as a gladiator? The fighters from the "Ars Gladiatoria" group show visitors the fighting techniques and weapons of the ancient top athletes. Visitors also learn lots of exciting facts: Were gladiators the soccer stars of Roman times? Were women also allowed to fight? Were there gladiators in Augusta Raurica and what evidence do we have of this?

For children aged 6 and over. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. The gladiator training is physically demanding. Please bring drinks and sun protection, wear comfortable clothing and good shoes.
