Deltabeben Regionale 2024
Since its inception, the DELTABEBEN regional exhibition has taken stock of the regional contemporary art scene in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region every two years, alternating between Mannheim and Ludwigshafen. In 2024, the established exhibition project will take place in Ludwigshafen again for the seventh time: In this year's edition, the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum and the Kunstverein Ludwigshafen are presenting 21 outstanding artists* of different age groups who have their center of work and life in the extended Rhine-Neckar region.
The stylistic diversity and broad spectrum of artistic techniques are what make this survey exhibition so appealing: Painting, drawing, photography and video are represented as well as sculpture and installation. Interestingly, they all address social, political, historical or sociological issues in different ways. Using artistic forms of expression, they shed light on the past and present, sometimes prompting reflection on how to shape the future.
