Open Monument Day - Open Day

Events
Der Salmen Offenburg © Dimitri Dell
The motto of this year's Open Monument Day is "True Signs. Witnesses of history". Thousands of monuments throughout Germany will be open to interested visitors on the day. Large, everyday and symbolic landmarks invite you to take an authentic look into the past - and learn a lot about your own present in the process. The Salmen is also open on this day from 11 am to 5 pm, and admission to the permanent exhibition is free all day.

We also offer a free guided tour at 11:15 a.m., which sheds light on the (architectural) history of the Salmen.
