Since Offenburg was marked by the revolution at the first Freedom Festival in 1997, we have celebrated the Freedom Festival every two years. We commemorate the revolutionary events of the 19th century in Offenburg and celebrate freedom.
This year, the Freedom Festival will take place for the first time in July and under a new title - shortly before the summer vacations, the Department of Culture invites you to spend a weekend in the city center. There is a colorful program on several stages between Salmen, Museum im Ritterhaus, Lindenplatz and Klostergymnasium - from music to poetry
slam. The stage program and other offerings are created in cooperation with various Offenburg associations.
A detailed program with all the offers on the festival weekend will be available at the end of June/beginning of July.
In addition to a stage in the inner courtyard, there will also be indoor activities for young and old in the Salmen. Look forward to a varied program and make a note of the weekend now!
