Ceramics from Kasama/Japan

Exhibitions
An exhibition in collaboration with the German-Japanese Society (DJG) Karlsruhe on the occasion of its 25th anniversary with 15 contemporary ceramists from Kasama in Japan.

The great diversity of products ranges from finely painted porcelain to archaic chipped ceramics made of unglazed stoneware. Over 50 contemporary works from utilitarian pottery to freely-designed, artistic objects from 15 Japanese ceramists, some of whom are renowned, reflect this diversity and showcase an expansive spectrum ranging from traditional works to modern creations.
