The Site of Joan of Arc's Birth House

The birth house: located in immediate proximity to the cemetery of the parish church, it is in accordance with the testimony left by Joan, confirming that it is indeed the house of Jacques d'Arc, her father.
Identified by a very old local tradition, this house has been the object of uninterrupted pilgrimages since the end of the 16th century.
Since Joan's time, however, the house, clearly recognisable by its sloping roof, has undergone many changes and renovations.

The new Interpretation Centre "Faces of Joan": refurbished in 2020, it offers an extensive portrait of Joan, from her childhood in Domremy to contemporary reappropriations.
