Naturhistorisches Museum Mainz

The Natural History Museum Mainz is the largest natural-science museum in Rhineland-Palatinate. It is an extracurricular and non-university place of learning, a centre for ecological education and a showcase for the sciences. The Natural History Museum Mainz sees itself as a place of encounter, communication and integration. Appreciation of the preservation of diversity is promoted here, as is an understanding of the common history of humans and nature.
