Enjoy visiting museums when they are dynamic, accessible, easy to follow, interesting and informative?

You will then surely take pleasure in coming to the Flößerei- und Verkehrsmuseum Gengenbach (Museum of Rafting and Traffic, Gengenbach) which is located in the historical signalman's house at the Kinzigbrücke in Gengenbach.

The museum focuses on rafting on the river Kinzig and elsewhere, the river as waterway, forestry trade and timber industry. The media room invites visitors to watch documentaries about these topics and about the construction of a massive raft on the river Rhine.

The special exhibition ‘Fascination Black Forest train' showcases pictures, maps, models and objects from “a construction of the century” - the first railway to connect the low mountain ranges, one of the most beautiful railway routes.
