The Domaine de Lindre consists of twelve ponds and covers an area of about 1,000 hectares. It is owned by the Département Moselle. The “Natura-2000-Area” is the onlyMosellearea which is recognized as protected wetlands according to the Ramsar Convention. Extensive fish farming makes it possible to preserve a unique variety of species, and there are a number of attractions for visitors – for example a bird house, an exhibition pavilion, the path “Rives en Rêves” and a café.
