Retrospective of the work of Jules Verne thanks to drawings, books, reproductions...
The exhibition showcases the nineteenth-century creator and poet and evokes his extraordinary travels and explores his quest for other worlds. Supported by Hetzel, the greatest publisher of the century, the writer Jules Verne quietly elevates the figure of a modern hero and draws the universe to the new measure of men in connection with the values of the Republic in the nineteenth century: The discovery of the Earth, the recognition of other peoples, the role of science, education for all, the moral education of children.
