Germany is considered the nation of poets and thinkers. Its long and multi-faceted literary tradition is virtually unparalleled.
The touring exhibition of the Working Group of Literary Societies and Memorials presents the diversity of the German literary landscape and brings together writers who have not only left their mark on their region, but who have had an impact far beyond the country's borders.
The exhibition provides an insight into the lives of selected authors who have a special connection to Baden-Württemberg, such as Johann Peter Hebel, Eduard Mörike, Justinus Kerner, Anton Chekhov and Friedrich Hölderlin.
